My name is Kathy Perunic and I founded New Tuscan Experience more than a decade ago to share my passion for Italy and show visitors the most authentic aspects of this amazing country.

Born and raised in New York, I first came to Florence over 30 years ago as a college student, and fell in love! After completing my degree at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, I chose to return and make Tuscany my home. 

Over my many years of living and working in Italy, I have gone from being an American expat to becoming an Italian expert. My deep understanding of both cultures is a unique advantage that allows me to combine an insider’s perspective with an awareness of my clients’ expectations, so I can offer them a more fulfilling travel experience.

My name is Paolo. I was born and raised in Italy and graduated from the University of Florence with a master's degree in economic statistics. Prior to joining my mother at New Tuscan Experience, I worked as a consultant and financial analyst at the Ernst & Young offices in Florence. My love of travel and the desire to share my knowledge of Italy led me to become a part of the family business. I assist in planning travel for our clients and handle all the financial and administrative aspects of the company.

My name is Alessandro, but most of my family and friends call me Alex. After graduating in Political Science and Communications from the University of Florence and working for a marketing company for a few years, I decided to join the family business, which allows me to use my creativity and share my love of travel with others. I assist in planning travel for our clients and manage all the marketing and social media for the company.
